Standard Production Process:

Material Inspection

Check whether the outer diameter and wall thickness of the pipe meet the requirements of the product drawing. Check that the pipe has no obvious scratches, rust, and other defects, and whether the pipe has obvious bends.

Pipe Manufacturing

Cut the pipe to meet the length requirements on the drawing.

Spear Forming

To achieve the spear-shaped pressed spears of the garrison fence, we flatten and squeeze the top of the pipe.

Welding

The pre-galvanized steel pipes are spliced into frames and welded.

Surface Pretreatment

The purpose of sandblasting or phosphating the surface of the product is to form a dense layer of pits on the surface of the pipe, thus increasing the adhesion of the powder.

Cleaning

Treat surface residues or impurities to ensure the next step of the process.

Powder Coating

The surface of the product is sprayed with epoxy-polyester powder and cured at high temperatures. This process makes the product’s paint film thickness at least ≥80μm. This process can make the product more rust-proof and corrosion-resistant, so it can withstand the erosion of various harsh environments.

Quality Control

We will do cross-cut testing for the powder coating before delivery. Our QC checks the powder coating thickness at every position of the fence panel. The average thickness of the coating is more than 100 μm.

Packaging

We use wrapping film + square cardboard + strapping tape to ensure safe transportation.

Q: This product is Face Welding. How is it different from Punch Through Welding?

A: Punch Through Welding refers to the process of welding on the contact surface of two workpieces. Usually, holes are drilled on the workpieces, and then the welding material is passed through the holes for welding. Face Welding refers to the welding on the edges of two workpieces. Usually, the edges of the two workpieces are aligned and then welded at the contacting edges. This method is suitable for situations where the edges of the workpieces are in good contact, and the welding process is relatively simple.

Q: Is the anti-theft and anti-climbing ability of the Garrison fence really stronger than that of ordinary fences?

A: The qualified high-security level Garrison fences are made using full welding technology. The wall thickness of the poles is generally above 2mm, and the overall structure has strong impact resistance. Ordinary human impact or hydraulic shears cutting within a short period of time are difficult to damage. The spear t0p design can effectively prevent climbing and overrunning.

Q: How long is the service life of the Garrison fence? Is it prone to rusting?

A: Our products undergo double-layer anti-corrosion treatment of hot-dip galvanizing and electrostatic powder coating. Under normal outdoor conditions, the service life can reach 20 years. Even in harsh environments such as coastal areas and saline-alkali lands, the service life can be around 15 years.
